Mike and Sam met up with me last week at Union Station for their engagement session. It was the perfect start to my week. I quickly remembered one of the biggest reasons I loved this couple when we first met – they are both originally from Chicago! Although they aren’t Cubs fans they are still super sweet and awesome to be around. I can’t get over how easily Mike gets Sam to laugh. She’s a constant ball of smiles and laughs when he is around – and that is the exact personality I like to be around. I love how easily these two sink into being comfortable in front of the camera. Even with a packed Union Station they didn’t show an ounce of shyness. At the end of their session the idea of a water fight in the fountains out front popped into my head. I had a feeling they would be the perfect couple that would be totally willing to do this – and I was right! They didn’t even hesitate! I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding this fall. They have chosen the perfect combination of a ceremony at Red Rocks Trading Post, and a reception at Mile High Station! I can’t wait to be a part of it! -Allie
