The first sunny day in Colorado for a couple of weeks and Nicole and Brandon got it for their wedding! Hooray! What better place to spend the beautiful day then at Brookside Gardens in Berthoud. The flowers were in bloom, the birds were singing and Nicole and Brandon were so excited to get married.
One of my favorite parts of weddings is seeing not only two families get together but the ceremony of bestowing luck, love and support on a couple. Nicole and Brandon’s day was full of people surrounding them, cheering them on and crying to let them go. Nicole’s necklace was given to her straight from Italy by her grandmother and it was a special moment to see her put it on her granddaughter. Her dad added her cherry on the top by putting on her veil just before she walked down the aisle and although there were tears shed by dad all day, I loved seeing them streaming down his face during the first dance and Nicole’s mom watching with the biggest smile on her face. Brandon was also graced with giant mom smiles and his grandma and great aunt waiting patiently and quietly to congratulate them. When they finally got their chance the hugs were so tight and lively you never saw it coming.
It was a perfect day that ran smooth from start to finish and Nicole and Brandon deserved nothing less than perfect. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kassick!
