Ruth and Colin are idyllic. When I met Ruth I immediately wanted her to be my friend. Then I met her mom and got even more excited. It was not until their engagement session that I was going to met Colin. I knew, when I did meet him, that he would be wonderful! There is no way he couldn’t be. Marrying a girl like Ruth you have to be a pretty awesome guy. I was not surprised when he came to his engagement session and was the easiest and sweetest guy. He has a wonderful smile just like Ruth. I love their mix of playful joking and messing around and sweetness. They have a good balance of making each other laugh pretty consistently and yet can stop and look at each other like they are the only one in the world.
We went to Sloans Lake to get a little more of who they are. We met at their favorite brewery, Joy Ride Brewing and started simply with a beer. Their dog Annie came along and was perfect the whole time. I don’t think I have ever had a dog look at the camera so much. It was fun to see their neighborhood and hear stories of their relationship. I can’t wait to learn more about them and be a part of their wedding next year!
