Being in Colorado with over 300 days of sunshine makes choosing an outdoor venue to celebrate your wedding day a very popular choice. There are many great venues in the Denver area and throughout the Front Range for your wedding. Many of them are great for their amazing views of the foothills and mountains and some have an incredible barn to make the backdrop for your wedding receptions Whatever it is you are looking for, Elevate Photography has probably photographed there, so we thought it would be fun to show you a list of our favorites. At all of these locations you have the option of an outdoor ceremony and many of them have spaces for outdoor receptions as well.

Barn at Deer Creek Valley Ranch
Located 45 minutes west from Denver, The Barn at Deer Creek Valley Ranch is an intimate boutique mountain setting for your wedding. Blanc is located in the center of downtown Denver’s RiNo district and is a great space for your wedding day. The interior of blanc boasts a large main hall, exposed brick walls and a lot of great natural light, which is perfect for photos. It is a very flexible space that you can easily personalize with your own creative decor.
The exterior space is a nice oasis in the middle of the city and is perfect for your ceremony and cocktail hour, especially on a beautiful summer night. The courtyard space includes leafy shade trees, market lights, and grapevines. The gazebo is a seated area is sheltered by a large grape arbor and features a market light chandelier.
The Boettcher Mansion provides a rare combination of historic authenticity and modern amenities from its secluded setting inside the Lookout Mountain Nature Preserve in Golden, Colorado, only a half-hour drive west of Denver. Built in 1917 in the arts and crafts style as a summer home and seasonal hunting lodge, it now serves a special and unique wedding venue. Denver Botanic Gardens

Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms
Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is situated by the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, providing a gorgeous landscape for all who choose to visit. The farm’s 700 acres are lovingly cared for, presenting as a beautiful background for any wedding event. There are a number of structures on the farm. Of the buildings, a barn, farmhouse, and schoolhouse have been renovated so that they are ideal for holding gatherings and functions. Highlands Ranch Mansion
The Highlands Ranch Mansion is a historic wedding venue that was built in 1891 and located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado that exudes charm and character with tons of space and opportunities to host the wedding you’ve always imagined. Sweet Heart Winery & Event Center
Sweet Heart Winery is situated alongside the Big Thompson River near the foothills of the great Rocky Mountains. The winery balances a rugged Colorado vibe with an unmistakable elegance –offering an exquisite event setting to fulfill your specific vision. Their riverside outdoor ceremony site is nestled under arching cottonwood trees and offers views of the mountains and Devil’s Backbone. The Hudson Gardens & Event Center
Hudson Gardens has thirty acres of natural spaces, you can choose from multiple venues and some of the most beautiful backdrops in the Denver area. They have three distinct areas to choose from. For your ceremony you can pick a rustic log cabin as your background or one of their two other ceremony sites where you will be surrounded by nature. You can then enjoy your reception in the log cabin or under one of their white canopies.
The Manor House
The Manor House is an elegant, historic wedding venue located in Littleton, Colorado. It’s nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Ken-Caryl Valley. Guests will experience gorgeous views every way they turn at this beautifully restored mansion. Couples can accommodate up to 250 guests at this vintage-style venue. The Pavilion at Cheeseman Park
Sitting in the middle of beautiful Cheeseman park in the heart of Denver is the the Cheesman Park Pavilion that was constructed in 1908 from Colorado Yule marble. It was built in the Neoclassical style, on a raised platform and topped by decorative balustrades. The walls were installed with fountains and inset with grand staircases approaching the pavilion, in the style of an Italian Renaissance garden. It is surrounded by beautiful flower gardens and has views of the downtown Denver skyline which makes for a wonderful location for your wedding ceremony.

Willow Ridge Manor
Willow Ridge Manor is a historic wedding venue located in Morrison, Colorado. This elegant manor dates back to the turn of the 20th century when it’s extensive renovations were completed in 1915. In 1989, it moved to its present site on the Red Rock formations at the entrance of the foothills. Couples can accommodate up to 200 guests at this mansion. For your ceremony, you have multiple outdoor options. You can exchange your vows in a candlelit ceremony in their Grand Ballroom or say your “I do’s” on one of their decks. The Manor features an upper deck off the Grand Ballroom or a lower deck with views of the Red Rock formations as your backdrop.
