Katelyn and Alec are all about adventure. They are so sweet and fun to be around. I think it is because they have so much fun together. They were basically laughing the whole time they were together. But it wasn’t over the top always joking around. Sometimes it was jokes laughing, sometimes it was giddy excitement to be together, sometimes it was just pure happiness. This is the kind of love that so many people strive for. You can tell that their life is going to be full of joy.
We headed up to the mountains where Alec proposed near Golden Gate Canyon State Park. They had hiked a mountain that day, we just hung out and enjoyed the beautiful nature around us. They did have to throw a little flare and excitement into it. So they brought smoke bombs. These things were crazy. We lit them at the picnic site and the purple, blue, pink and red smoke filled the air. It was such rich colors. I loved seeing it swirling around them in a frenzy. It was exhilarating too! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year at one of my favorite spots, The Barn at Raccoon Creek!
