Brooke and Isaac are my ideal couple. To be honest, our whole team was in awe of them. Sometimes when you meet people you are instantly drawn to them. They are those people. They are super laid back, confident, easy going, thoughtful, kind and so full of joy. Together they give each other strength and encouragement to be their best selves. That is everything you want in a marriage. Above and beyond, these two are living it.
They had a killer day! It was the perfect mix of nostagia and reverance in elegance and tradition along with adventure and ultimate party. They got married at St. Dominics Catholic Parish in Denver by the same priest who married Isaac’s parents. It is a beautiful church. It is vast and expansive with light filling every space and yet there were these amazing little nooks and crannies like the stairwell. They had a classic ceremony that ended in a traditional sword ceremony. Seeing the men march down the aisle from above was quite incredible. Like all good marines, they mixed a little tradition with a little fun as they exited the ceremony.
We got down to Spruce Mountain Ranch as it was raining. But that didn’t put any sort of damper on their day. Not even when it started to hail. It just made it more interesting, unique and memorable. The wedding party all still took the few minutes of sunshine we had to enjoy the views and hang out with each other. Then we were able to take Isaac and Brooke out later and were surround by glowing fields and etherial clouds. I mean seriously, this wedding didn’t feel real.
We finished the night raging on the dance floor to the awesome band Tunisia and DJ Hipster Mama Productions. The dance floor was full the whole time. Everyone, young and old joined in the fun. I even got to join in the dancing and got down. I couldn’t help myself. We left this wedding with overflowing hearts. Brooke and Isaac are meant to be together and the fact that they share their love with the world is a true gift. Their joy is life giving and we were so happy to be a part of it!
Thanks to all the vendors who made this day extra wonderful!
