When Ivy reached out to me to photograph his proposal to Anna I was beyond excited. Ther are so many things to think of to pull this off and what I am thinking of isn’t even half of what Ivy is working on. He and Anna were going to be in Vail with his family for the week and he knew two things, she wanted beautiful views and loved pictures. So he took her on a walk to see the “wildlife”. She thought nothing of it, to my relief as they strolled the path at the Vail Golf and Nordic Clubhouse. In my opinion, this is the best view of the Gore Range. As Ivy got down on one knee in the snow, I just got more and more excited. What a special thing to be a part of. Anna was, of course, elated! She could not stop talking about how fun it was, how she couldn’t believe it, how her friends all threw her off time and time again and how beautiful the ring was. It was extra special because it was the center stone of her mom’s wedding ring. All and all, I would say it was a major success. Ivy is already proving to be a very thoughtful partner. I am so excited for them to get married!
