I had a great adventure with Katherine and Mac and their fur babies this week at Lookout Mountain. We caught some Fall colors at the base near I70. The dogs were happy to be playing in the fall leaves. This was their first time doing a family portrait and I think they did a great job, don’t you?! Katherine’s Mom, Shari was there to tend to the dogs afterwards so that Katherine and Mac wouldn’t be distracted for the rest of the shoot. It made a big difference!
We then headed up to the top of Lookout Mountain where we roamed the woods at sunset. I was most impressed when, at the end of the shoot, we found a giant boulder overlooking the valley. When I jokingly asked if they could get on top of it they scrambled the rock without hesitation! They exclaimed, “We’re rock climbers!” I loved their enthusiasm and can’t wait to see more of that at their wedding next Summer at Flying Horse Ranch. –Ryan
