There are a lot of superstitions out there. One of the most popular being the Friday the 13th is a bad omen or unlucky. For many, this is a day to avoid. I have to strongly disagree and I think Andrea and Kenneth would side with me. Friday the 13th has always been lucky for me. It proved to be a continued truth with Andrea and Kenneth’s wedding! This was an amazing day.
Their wedding was unique in a lot of ways. You could see Andrea’s hard work and personal touches all over it. She has such a creative talent and it shows and really made her wedding day special. I especially loved the gold leaf hair piece she made. It was an elegant fall accent to her glamorous ensemble.
This wedding was all things fall. I think mid October is the perfect time for fall colors in Denver. It was totally to be celebrated in the wedding. There were many of these little touches all over. Like their very personalized cake with the saying “We are leaves on the wind. Watch us soar.” The deep colors of fall, the golds and reds. Of course we had to go across the street to Union Square Park to get some of that fall goodness. So the wedding party happily played in the leaves amongst other goofy and fun things. For those, you will have to see the pictures and maybe ask the wedding party.
The day went off without a hitch. It was relaxed and enjoyable. The sun was shining, everyone who was there was there with intention. Even his two brothers made sure to be a part of it. One in spirit with a video speech he made half way across the world and the other with a brand new baby. It was sweet to see everyone come together. This is what weddings are all about. It was two people who share a crazy likeness in their sense of humor, deep true love, and all their friends and family there to support them.
Thanks Andrea and Kenneth for letting me be a part of the elite crew who got to be at your wedding. I had a blast and am very happy for you!
A huge thanks to all the people and vendors who made the day possible!
