I love it so much when I see the vision for a wedding day that my couples talk about in our first meeting unfold perfectly on their actual day. For David and Kelly this is beyond true. They didn’t want a big production, but wanted everything to be very relaxed and natural. All day long Ryan and I were so amazed at how well everything came together to make it exactly that. Even the weather held out at just the right moments, and we even got some blue skies which have been greatly missed so far this year! David and Kelly share such a simple and quiet, but very deep love that everyone around them is inspired and encouraged by. They are major outdoor enthusiasts, spending most of they free time hiking and camping, so it made so much sense for their wedding to be the same. Their florist Kristi With Fleur Decor totally nailed the “just picked” wild flower look with just the right pops of color.
I love the ceremony sites at the Pines at Genesee. It really gives that “middle of the woods” feel and has so many beautiful backdrops for photos. Kelly is a very talented landscape photographer herself, so I knew that capturing the scenery was very important to her. I was so excited that they were willing to climb to the top of some boulders to get that top-of-the-world feel, but come, obviously if anyone would be into climbing rocks on their wedding day it would be these two! I am going to be carrying the peace and beauty from this wedding with me for a long time. Thank you so much David and Kelly for trusting me with your day, I wish you so much love and happiness!
Thank you to all the great vendors who pulled together a beautiful wedding!
