Only a few times in a lifetime do you find couples that you admire for every part of them individually and in their relationship. There are a lot of incredible people out there and incredible couples, but we all have our flaws. Megan and Eric I admire for everything they are. They continue to blow me away the more and more I learn about them. I was so honored to photograph their wedding.
Spruce Mountain Ranch has a special place in my heart so I always get excited when I hear that someone is getting married there. When Stacia and Josh referred Stacia’s brother Eric to me, I was elated. I photographed Stacia and Josh’s wedding 6 years ago at the Sanctuary. It was my first portfolio and physical album at the studio. Needless to say, it turned out well. But more so they are just fun and good people. So no wonder that Eric is the same.
Their wedding was everything it should be. Michale Hoff and Spruce Mountain Ranch did an incredible job in the planning of the day. Project Floral killed it like they always do and all the vendors just made the wedding easy so that the important thing could shine, their love. As I was driving to Spruce Mountain Ranch, I told my assistant that Eric and Megan are the kind of people that live in a moment, not just live through a moment. I realized this in doing their engagement sessions. I would ask them to do something and they wouldn’t do it for the camera, they would do it for real. It makes me realized how well they are going to experience their lives together. Every moment is going to be felt, enjoyed, revered. They are going to write a store beyond our imagination.
Oh… am I supposed to tell you more about their wedding? Well, it had so many good parts and made me so happy it is hard to write it in a blurb. So I will let them tell you stories and the photos speak for themselves.
