Jimmy and Melissa’s wedding was the most happening party in Del Norte last weekend! Their ceremony and reception was at Jimmy’s family property. They surprised me with a classic Camaro entrance with her Dad, treehouse views of the ceremony alongside the Rio Grande river. And that’s just the start of it!
They wanted to share their vows personally so myself and Trevor witnessed them exchange vows in front of the coolest wood pile ever. This was a first for me and was a moment I won’t soon forget!
I loved the casual atmosphere to the day that was balanced elegantly with their choice of flowers and decor all appointed under a cute circus top tent nestled in the woods.
It was a photographer’s dream to wander the property and discover niches to tuck Melissa and Jimmy in. I loved how after their ceremony Jimmy got his fly rod and went fishing! How fitting for these two?!
After the colorful dancing and celebrating under the evening mountain air, their friends put on a fireworks show. That’s right! They had proper “Oooh and ahh” inspiring mortars that graced the night sky. To top it all off, Melissa and Jimmy lit a paper lantern to cap of the night.
What a dream!? See for yourself how sweetly genuine these two are. Thanks Melissa and Jimmy! –Ryan
