I was so excited to be a part of Raegan and Tyson’s wedding. After meeting them over video chat I knew they were a fun couple. They met in the military and now live together in Hawaii. They are equally driven, hard working, and let’s face it bad asses. What you can really tell about this couple though is how much fun they have together. Tyson is hilarious in every way. He is always joking around and making everyone around him laugh. He does the same with Raegan, however, if you watch he also just melts for her. Yes, Tyson, i ratted you out. I saw it when he was waiting for her for their first look, when she came down the aisle, when they were doing portraits, and so many more times. Over and over again you could tell behind his goofing.. he was SO in love.
The day started perfectly. Tyson and his dad were soaking up some rays outside of their villa joking around. Raegan was done in hair and makeup early and relaxing in her room. As we walked up to her room, her bridesmaids were walking down the hall. Dresses in tow, they were chatting and laughing. Meeting Raegan in person she was sweeter and cooler than I had even imagined. Her whole family surrounded her and they were all smiley and laughing the whole time. Her sister and her share the beauty of their mother and her kind heart. I am pretty sure her mom Stephanie is the nicest woman I have ever met. She was in high spirits too, laughing with the girls and offering us all treats. (which we gladly accepted) They all felt like family already.
This was just how both families rolled. They brought you in and loved you like family. They joked around and were always laughing but behind the jokes were constant hugs and praise. I loved doing photos before the ceremony where we could have the families with us. Tyson’s mom had such a love for the people around her. She wanted to make sure nobody was missed or left out and her smile beamed when she was with them.
It was a great day with the simple things like the crisp blue skies, a BEAUTIFUL venue with The Club at Flying Horse, the elegant decor and execution by Candice Griffin and Ambiance floral. It really allowed the complex things to shine like the love between Raegan and Tyson and the excitement of the family and friends. Raegan was so so beautiful I was giddy with photographer excitement. Between her gorgeous eyes and long lashes to that bright smile. Oh that smile. I think I caught Tyson swooning… 🙂
I am so happy that Raegan and Tyson found each other. They have a dynamite relationship that you look at and look up to. Congrats!
