Kristina and Russ tied the knot last Saturday on top of the world. They couldn’t have picked a better day for their wedding. The weather was perfect. The skies were only grey for a short time before the ceremony. Everyone was happy. There were cupcakes. All the kids in attendance were super adorable. The list could go on for days. Just from spending the day with Kristina and Russ I could tell they are a perfect match. The first thing that tipped me off to this was the amount of people that roughed traffic going west on 1-70 after an accident on a Saturday afternoon to show their love and support for this couple. If you live in Denver, or have visited you know how treacherous the traffic can be. So it means a lot when everyone still shows up ready to celebrate.
The day started off and everyone was so extremely calm. They were ready for this. They had all clearly been waiting for awhile. We headed to the top of Granby Ranch Mountain where Kristina and Russ had their first chance to see each other. It was amazing. They had their first moments of the day alone together before everyone arrived. I could tell they were equally excited to get this wedding started. Russ’ sister was the officiant for their ceremony. It was so special to see her tear up during the ceremony. As soon as they were announced as husband and wife they headed off for wedding party photos – with a few pit stops for kisses along the way.
Once we finished photos we were able to get the newlyweds off to their party. They arrived to the base welcomed by all of their guests cheering them on. Toasts were made extra special by their close friends, and family members. They cut their cake, and danced the night away with friends. I am so honored to have been a part of this day! -Allie
