Wow, wow wow wow. I don’t even know what to say about Savannah and Garrett except wow. Never have I felt so much gratitude, love and joy from a family. From the second I walked in to them getting ready to the last person on the dance floor, this wedding was full of spirit. First of all, it helps that both Savannah and Garrett and all their family are the nicest, most thoughtful people on the planet. Beyond that, they radiate joy for the people around them and so much love for each other. They are humble and their deep hearts drive everything they do. After years and years of dating, starting in high school, you can tell that they have built a rich, deep, fulfilling relationship. It shines through them and gives to everyone they know. That was what their wedding was all about.
Black Canyon Inn has the perfect mountain vibe. It is elegant and beautiful but it is also comfortable and homey. It is small and intimate enough for your favorite people to all be able to talk, laugh, dance and celebrate. Plus, the views are amazing. It was fun to explore the property with their friends and hear the elk calling to us.
The dinner and toasts were amazing. The food warms your soul and fills your belly. The toasts all warmed our hearts. Savannah’s sister was perfectly hilarious and sweet and Garrett’s friends gave loyalty and built him up. It ended with her dad, which had everyone crying and we thought that would be it for the night. But it picked up with a killer dance party that nobody could resist.
I think that Savannah and Garrett were perfectly celebrated and you can see all the love and support that carried. I can’t wait to see the adventures and love they continue to create.
