Jeb and Zuleika are a match made in heaven. Honestly, this is not a cliche phrase with them. They had me crying within 5 minutes of meeting them. And on Skype none the less. I could see it, I could hear it and I could feel it. They are so very in love. It is really quite remarkable.
You saw their love shine throughout their wedding day in the little details, big moments and quiet thoughts. They were ecstatic to be in Vail with all their favorite people. Thirty five of them. Yes, this was a smaller intimate wedding but had the love and energy of a wedding 10 times its size. Every single person who was there was hand picked and meant to be there. They all dropped everything and traveled the distance to be with two people whom they dearly love.
How can you not love them?! They both have so many incredible qualities. They are intelligent and successful, down to earth, sweet, loving, fun, hilarious and so much more. I equally felt like I had known them for years and was following them around like they were celebrities. Their personalities radiate. There is no doubt in my mind that is how they found each other. They were drawn to each other. It was from the very first moment they saw each other and it was all over after that. These two are perfect.
Their wedding day was perfect too. Thanks to the Sonnenalp Resort and White Birch Weddings it was a beautiful and elegant event. From getting ready with Zu and her girls as they played Heads Up and laughed hysterically to the look on Jeb’s face when he saw Zuleika for the first time, I knew this was going to be a lively day. Everyone was game for anything. Jeb and Zu walked around Vail Village with us all the way to the covered bridge. Their friends and family bore the cold so they could have pictures with them too. The toasts were heartfelt and warm. Zu’s brother even recorded a video while he was in Africa on Safari to exhibit that he was fully confident in this relationship then. The dances were so sweet. As Jeb’s dad took pictures and recorded in the background, Jeb held his mother tight. She has the most beautiful smile and every time she looked at her little boy she glowed. Zu’s dad was content to hold his little girl forever. But happily gave her to Jeb for their first dance. The night ended with dancing and drinks. It could not have been more wonderful.
I am so happy to have been a part of such a perfect union. These two take my heart and make me exclaim how wonderful love is. I know they will excel in their marriage. Congratulations!
