I was so happy to get out with Erin and Matt for a truly Colorado engagement session. I had I been looking forward to seeing them again and romping around both the city of Boulder and the mountains. There is nothing more Colorado then going from drinking beer to a mountain trek. The weather made it the perfect day for photos. Having a 70degree day in February is unusual but you didn’t see us complaining!
We started out at West Flander’s Brewing Company for a couple beers. It was fun to just relax and hang out. Erin and Matt got to decompress from the week and I got to experience the constant laughing. They have such a relaxed relationship. You can just tell that they have fallen into an ease with their romance. From there, we headed out to explore downtown. As we walked down Pearl Street there comfort with each other became more and more apparent. Matt can make Erin laugh in a heartbeat. I was surprised at how easily Erin could make Matt blush!
We ended up in the fields overlooking the Flatirons. It is a beautiful view and a perfect way to spend the end of the day. The sun set gently over the mountains and the light was gorgeous. Erin and Matt continued to surprise and amaze me. They are so fun to be around, enjoy awesome things, and frankly couldn’t be more perfect together. As I captured them interacting all I could think was how lucky they are. They made me nostalgic for my husband. I can’t wait until they get to say “I do” this October and I get to capture it!
