I had been looking forward to Alyssa and Brent’s wedding for a while now. What happened that day, however, totally blew me out of the water. I was taken aback by the sweetness, love, joy, and genuine care that everyone at this wedding exhibited. I should have known that Alyssa and Brent would surround themselves with awesome people. First in their picks in each other, but then in their friends and family too.
Alyssa and Brent are incredibly impressive people and incredibly humble about it too. You would never know all the amazing things they do until you really get to know them. For example, Alyssa quit her safe and well to do job to go back to school and work at children’s hospital. On her free days, she volunteers with the kids at Children’s as well. Brent is active in his church and helps coach a blind baseball team. These are just 2 of the many wonderful things they do for others. It is no wonder that they found each other. Two people like that deserve someone as genuine and caring as them.
The day was perfect. From the calm of the girls hotel room, to the excited energy of Brent as I told him he was about to see his bride. Mom’s and dad’s all shed a couple tears of joy but were mostly all smiles. We honestly thought that their cheeks must be killing them with how much smiling they were doing.
The weather started out hot and sunny and then the clouds rolled in to provide a cooled down evening adn the most epic sunset. This sunset was one out of a fairytale. It was the way Colorado makes sunsets, bright orange and blue. Everyone had to stop to see it. It was proof that their wedding day was going to be anything but divine.
Congratulations Alyssa and Brent! You had a day fit for everything you deserve. Your marriage is going to be even better!
Thanks to all the amazing vendors who made the day possible!
