I love it when my couples are down for an adventure. Dana and Ben were visiting Colorado last week to soak up the changing of the colors and to dial in details for their wedding next Summer in Estes Park. As we were planning their engagement session in Breckenridge, I was sharing how excited I was to have just purchased a 4Runner. When they picked up on how much I enjoy getting offroad, they jumped at the chance to go 4 wheeling up Mt. Baldy in Breckenridge.
I had so much fun exploring Breckenridge and soaking up the last bit of aspen colors and touring the Saw Mill site just outside of town. We made it to Boreas Pass Rd before driving up to the 13k foot peak of Mt Baldy! I was tickled to see how much they were enjoying being on top of the world together. We shared some bourbon to warm us up as the sun quickly dropped behind the horizon. Such a great way to wrap up a shoot!
Thanks Dana and Ben for adventuring with me! Can’t wait for your wedding! –Ryan

This cabin by the sawmill in Breckenridge was the perfect start to their engagement session!

I love how her diamond pops against the bright aspen!

Flannel, whiskey and mountains were the perfect characters to join Dana and Ben at their engagement shoot!

We traversed Mt Baldy for the prettiest sunset on top of the world!
