What a weekend! Elizabeth and Jason came in from Houston for Elizabeth’s annual birthday trip. They always go somewhere great and this year they hit Colorado just right. They spent the weekend in Vail at the peek of the fall colors. I can only imagine how amazing it was. Then, I got the privilege of spending Elizabeth’s actual birthday with her in Boulder to take their engagement photos. Talk about lucky! It was fun spending time with them and getting to know them a little more. I treasure engagement sessions with out of town couples because it allows me to get some face time and learn more about them.
Elizabeth and Jason are a dream. They are so much fun together. It is not only their incredible good looks (as you can see from photos). They are so sweet and funny. I just genuinely enjoyed being around them. Their love makes you comfortable and happy. They just have an ease about them. They were up for anything. We basically did it all from playing in the creek at South Mesa Trail, to hiking the trails by the Flatirons to traveling to the top of Flagstaff Mountain for Sunset, it was all a blast. There is nothing like ending a shoot with great people over looking the continental divide as the sun goes down. Is this really my life?
