I have been waiting for this wedding for a while! When Emily and I met we just immediately clicked. I just wanted to be her friend right away and I think because I felt so comfortable with her I might have been a little too excited from the get go. But it worked and I couldn’t contain my excitement when I met and spent the day with Nate as well for their engagement session. These are two people you just want to be around. They are real and fun and sarcastic and sweet at the same time. I felt like old friends and was eagerly anticipating their wedding.
The day finally came and it was everything I imagined. Emily looked stunning in her dress and her makeup was to die for. It really made her bright blue eyes pop all the more. Nate was calm and happy and ready to go. He looked pretty dashing himself and Emily couldn’t wait to see her “hot groom”, as she would say. Their first look was so sweet, Nate just wanted to look at her in her gorgeous dress. He is so good at making her laugh and smile. When they are together they are so natural. There love is very present but not sickeningly sweet. You just feel it deep in your bones. They are meant to be together.
The ceremony was beautiful inside of Our Lady of the Mountains. It is a beautiful church that has equal elegance of a catholic church and charm of the mountains. My favorite part of ceremony’s is watching them put on the rings. There was a glimmer in Emily’s eye and a bright smile on Nate’s face. You could tell they were ready for this.
The rest of the evening seemed to fly by. We got to sneak away to Rocky Mountain National Park for stunning views and some alone time. Although pictures are not Nate’s favorite thing, the thought easily melts away when he is with Emily. It wouldn’t surprise me if they said they forgot I was there (which is a big statement as I am pretty loud and silly). It was the perfect weather and fall had come a just the right moment turning all the aspens the perfect color yellow.
As we got back to the reception at the gorgeous Della Terra and into dinner, toasts and dancing you could tell that everyone was having a wonderful time. The room was loud and full of life. Emily’s family were dancing up a storm. Nate’s uncle gave a hilarious and yet very heartfelt speech and everyone seemed to be rumbling with smiles and laughter. I feel so honored to be a part of such a beautiful day and the beginning of an incredible marriage. Thank you Emily and Nate for bringing me along on your adventure. I promise, whether you like it or not, you will see me again because you two are just too good to not be friends with.
Congrats to the Mr. & Mrs. Muniz!
Thanks for all the hard work of the vendors to make the day great!
