Gemma and Vincent really wanted snow for their engagement session. I don’t blame them, falling snow in the city is so romantic. It is one of my favorite things. Then you pair it with a couple who is so cute and in love and you pretty much have magic. The only problem was the snow was not falling in Denver. So we waited, and we waited and we finally decided that we would modify our plan and take this outing to the mountains. It was well worth the wait.
These two looked like they were right where they belong in Vail. They have the classic elegant style mixed with laid back and fun personalities that fit right in this mountain village. As we wandered around Vail Village and checked out the town, they laughed and snuggled and made my job a breeze. They are so easy together. I loved spending time getting to know them and adventure a little through the mountains and snow. The end was my favorite part when they really settled in to a groove. The light was hitting the Gore Range and them perfectly. That magic happened. It was the perfect day and I can’t wait to photograph there wedding in a couple months!
If you ever want to go on a date in Vail go to the skating rink in Lionshead Village. You can skate or just people watch.
Perfect Vail setting with the iconic bridge and creek running through.
Engagement sessions are for romance.
Hanging out in the middle of Vail as people come off the ski lifts.
Gemma is so beautiful. Just look at those eyes!
Have a little fun in the snow. Coming up with secret handshakes.
The view at the Vail Golf Course and Nordic Center of the Gore Range is out of this world.
