The Caprioglio’s have been a long time favorite family around Elevate. They have become part of our family as we photographed their first daughter’s wedding ind 2013, their son’s wedding in 2014 and now their youngest daughter’s wedding. It is such a privilege to be a part of a families big moments. When they asked me to be the one to photograph it I was elated. I especially am fond of them and when I met Ethan, Haley’s finance I almost couldn’t contain my excitement. The Maulsby family is a gem. With 5 boys, Ethan is the youngest. You would think that would be a handful but each boy is as sweet as the first. You can tell that their parents put so much love into this family and raised them so well.
So what happens when two wonderful families come together? A marriage that is bursting with love, support, faith, and lifelong excitement. Haley and Ethan fall into each other perfectly. They lift each other up, make each other laugh, and are so tender. They can say how they feel in just one look. I experienced this at their engagement session but on their wedding day when they had their first look it was on a whole other level. I don’t think I will ever forget when they saw each other for the first time and they just giggled and snuggled and the world melted away.
The day was perfect. The weather had warmed up with a crisp blue November sky. The sun kept all of us warm and the soft colors of the hills and whites of the Manor House complimented the burgundy and gray that Haley and Ethan chose perfectly. Every thing flowed well and was easy as they hung out with friends and family. It was fun to see that there was no “have to” or “chore” time. They were just celebrating together.
The ceremony reflected their love for each other and the strength of God at the center of their marriage. We all tried not to cry as they symbolically washed each other’s feet. Then we all tried not to laugh as they excited as man and wife with bare feet. This might have been my favorite part of the day.
We ate, drank and danced the night away with great music by Elite DJ. The Manor House is one of my favorite venues. People can hang out on the couches, sit by the fire pit, or dance the night away in the beautiful reception space. It is elegant and yet very Colorado. It fit Haley and Ethan perfectly.
I could not be happier that I got to be a part of such wonderful people coming together. I love this family and Haley and Ethan are a beautiful representation of the kind of people you want to be, the kind of love you want to have, and I know the kind of marriage we all look up to. Thank you for letting me share with you.
Congratulations Haley and Ethan!
Thanks to all the vendors who made the day special:
