I came back from Aaron and Chelsies wedding elated. These two are so sweet together and know how to throw a party! As I am downloading all their photos I come across the post that Aaron made on his wedding day:
“Well today is the day! Today is the day I start a new journey. Today is the day that I affirm what has existed for years. Today I am right where I belong. Today is my wedding day! I love you Chelsie Schwartz! I have told you for years and a hundred times over again, I love you now and forever! I cannot wait to see what a beautiful bride you will make today!”
That was literally the first thing that came up on my Facebook as I opened it to post a couple photos from their day. Is that not the best? Sometimes, I can talk and talk but they say it better. That is really what I felt this wedding was about, Aaron and Chelsie above the crowd. These are two incredible sweet and generous people that give so much of themselves to others that it was time for it to be their day.
With their ceremony and reception both at Cielo at Castle Pines it made for the perfect blend of Colorado elegance. In his best man toast, Aaron’s brother said it was the perfect “country jewish wedding”. Really, it had elements of the laid back, natural and easy going feel of a country wedding. Full of bright colored sunflowers and tall grasses. However, it was so elegant and glamorous as well. Chelsie looked stunning in her strapless lace dress and Aaron was all done up with his perfectly tied trinity knot in his tie. They celebrated with loud joy and comfortable ease. Everyone had a good time you can only have with all your favorite people. They sang (during the Tish), they danced and they were beyond marry!
Throughout the day there were perfect pockets of reflection and soaking in the moment. They were stop and look at each other and be so happy. They were truly living their wedding day. A few handful of these times brought the whole room to tears. When Chelsie’s bridesmaids saw her for the first time, followed by a grand reveal to her dad and brother made everyone gush like open faucets. The two leading men in her life up until she met Aaron, her dad and her brother, had some of the sweetest reactions I have ever seen. I was talking to her brother in a down moment and he just kept saying how wonderful Chelsie is. Then the two of them stole away to Daniels Park for sunset and it was as epic as it could be. I didn’t want to stop taking pictures. They looked over the valley and mountains and soaked in what they had been waiting for, they were married! It was just the thing to recognize what a fantastic marriage this would be.
I am so happy for these two and the incredible blending on their lives together.
