I mentioned on Facebook that Ivy and Eamonn’s wedding was out of this world. Although that is a little bit cheesy to say, it has a lot of elements of truth to it. I will start with the easy stuff. Ivy and Eamonn love the sky and space. With this, they knew they wanted the wedding to have a space theme without being over the top. With the help of Curate Events & Design they did it so beautifully. There were little touches to stary skys and moons. Geodes and night sky scenes. Ivy’s shoes were galaxy inspired and Eamonn and the groomsmen had astronaut socks on. The tables were elegant with the purples, navy and silvers. They also had a photo booth where they made a custom crescent moon to sit in. They picked the perfect venue for this as well. With the mountain views and open skies at Ten Mile Station, there is nothing like the stars you see.
On a more abstract note, Ivy and Eamonn are out of the world too. Ivy is more than just beautiful. She is actually quite brilliant and to prove it she works at NASA. To prove it further she moved to Colorado for Eamonn and told her boss and he figured out a way to keep her. She is so full of life and laughter. You feel comfortable and happy as soon as you meet her.
Eamonn is intentional, interesting and invested. Like one of his groomsmen said in his toast, you know that Eamonn is going to be there for you. He is also funny and gets everyone around him having a good time. This was also apparent during the groomsmen photos. Together, you can only imagine. They compliment each other perfectly. What one gives fits to the t with what the other needs. They open each other up to a whole new world of possibilities. To a world where they are the best version of themselves.
To top it all of, the wedding party and guests were so happy. There was not a face that was not smiling. The party was pumping. While we were outside taking the star photos I could hear everyone inside cheering and laughing.
It was such a fun wedding to be a part of. I am very happy for Ivy and Eamonn. How lucky they are to have found the perfect partner. Congratulations!
