It was a perfect day in Broomfield, Colorado for a wedding. It was held at the Dove House at Lionsgate Event Center. This venue has the perfect mix of vintage charm, beautiful outdoor space and open lively indoor space. It even has chickens! It is the perfect spot for a wedding that is focused on bringing all your favorite people together. That is what Tina and Dominic are all about.
When you tell people that your wife works with your mom and your mom is actually the one who introduced you they are a little taken aback. We have all seen it in the movies where the mom or grandma meets a girl and say “I need to introduce you to my son, he is a nice man.” Well, sometimes mother really does know best. That was the case for Tina and Dominic. His mom knew that Tina would make the perfect partner for her son.
Tina and Dominic fit like two perfect pieces of a puzzle. Tina’s dry sarcastic and silly sense of humor makes Dominic laugh hysterically. Tina’s smile is a mile wide when she sees Dominic. He knows how to brighten that real smile like nobody else. They just get each other. It is a seemingly simple and easy love but spend a little time with them and it is very clear that it is extremely rich and deep. Yet, they don’t flaunt it. They just know and live well in it.
The day was full of laughs, inside jokes, family, and little meaningful surprises. One of my favorites was that Dominic’s mom and him walked down the aisle to Salt-n-Peppa’s “What a Man”. Their day was well lived and celebrated! They are married and I feel like it was the kind of day you can really be present in each moment. There was the perfect amount of time for everything we needed and plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company. I think it was exactly what two people like Tina and Dominic deserve.
