Madi and Mike are married! What a wonderful way to celebrate this great couple! After days of stormy clouds and rain, the sky opened up yet left Madison and Michael with a slightly cool and calm Colorado day. It was perfect as we started the day with their first look on top of the rocks overlooking all of Arrowhead Golf Course. Although I always worry that a bride won’t want to take the deer trail up there, once you get there the views are incredible. It is the perfect spot to exclaim their love.
Madi, is one of the chillest people and brides I have met. She was up for anything. She was just so excited to see Mike and marry him that she just wanted to soak in every minute and opportunity of it. Mike was just as giddy. As he stood there waiting on top of the rocks for her, he couldn’t stop smiling. As soon as he saw her the world melted away.
The day was so effortless. I think that really speaks to Madi and Mike and all the people they surround themselves with. First off, I have to get special props to the wedding party. They were fun and silly and respectful and sweet. They took the opportunities to make everyone laugh and also the moments to cry tears of joy. They had the perfect balance of excitement, joy and sentiment. Madi and Mike, are clearly the best versions of themselves when they are together. Already separately wonderful, intelligent, fun and sweet people, together they have a super power. They light up with they look at each other and that beam spreads to those around them. I continuously caught one or the other stealing glances at their partner with a look on their face that said “I can’t believe I am so lucky to be with you.”
I left the day rejuvenated and excited. I can’t wait to see what Madi and Mike’s lives look like as a married couple. For sure it is going to be as epic as those beautiful views at Arrowhead and as fun as the party that went off that night. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Vercelli!
